Jennifer Sabella
February 15 – March 24, 2013
Visitors to Five Points Gallery will see paintings that focus on line and color.
Ms. Sabella’s vibrant, energetic works are comprised of colorful lines that appear precise, but on closer inspection, one sees that the lines break and meet one another. Each richly colored piece pulsates with energy. The overall effect is best seen from afar yet the process draws the viewer in with the need to study the paintings in greater detail.
Jennifer is a native of Westport, CT. As the daughter of Broadway dancer and actress, Bambi Linn, she grew up surrounded by art, artists, theater and actors. Jennifer absorbed all that creativity and eventually, as an adult, sifted through her life of observation, creating her own artistic vision, experimenting with color, texture, techniques and mediums, as well as the use of canvas, metals and other materials for constructing.
Jennifer Sabella's work is in private collections around the world. She is represented in Connecticut by Troy Fine Arts, located in Southport. She is currently working on a 14-foot Flypaper commission for a five-star hotel in Boston.
