The art of basket making can be used for the creation of daily utilitarian and decorative forms which could evolve into complex sculptural pieces. Basketry can be a very meditative and calming process; therefore\, an energy exercise will also be introduced at the beginning of class. During this workshop\, participants will be learning the figure eight and mariposa stitch to create a basket 6”x 6″ in class. \nTo Register: click here
