DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Banjie Getsinger Nicholas \nDate: Saturday\, May 20\, 2023 \nTime: 10AM – 3PM \nMember: $ 76.50 \nNon-Member: $ 85.00 \nThis introductory workshop will include brief background and history of silverpoint technique and discussion of the distinctive aspects and materials of the medium. \nFor convenience artists will be working on heavy paper – minimum 140 lb – but other substrates will be discussed for future interest. Artists will prepare a variety of grounds on which to draw. Benefits and drawbacks of tinting the grounds will be considered and either or both can be experimented with. Paper and grounds will be provided with a silverpoint stylus on loan from the instructor. A stylus can be purchased if desired. \n  \nTo Register: click here
