DESCRIPTION:Master Class Workshop: Matrices + Monotype = Monoprints\nDates: August 13 – 15\nTime: 10 AM – 4 PM\nLocation: Five Points Arts Center Print Lab\nInstructors: Kathleen Schroeder and John Willis\nCost: $550 \nThis three-day master class is geared toward intermediate and advance printmakers. Participants must have experience with either linoleum relief prints or polyester plate lithographs. In this workshop\, artists will create a one-color relief or polyester lithographic print and then\, using a variety of monotype techniques\, will further develop those prints into a variable edition using a variety of monotype techniques. Participants will leave the workshop with a set of monotype techniques that they can use to expand their printmaking practice into the creation of variable editions.
