SUMMARY:Gallery Opening 9/25: "Creative Magic" & "A Woman of a Certain Age"
DESCRIPTION:Five Points Gallery: Corner of 7 Water Street & 33 Main Street\,  Torrington\, CT 06790 \nFive Points Gallery will present two new exhibitions from September 25 through November 7\, 2026. A Woman of a Certain Age\, by Sandra Guze\, will fill the TDP Gallery and Torrington Savings Bank Gallery. Creative Magic will be presented in the West Gallery and feature the work of Janine Brown\, Sheila Ferri\, Sarah Griswold\, Natalya Khorover\, and Robbii Wessen. \nTogether\, the exhibitions explore questions of identity\, gender\, memory\, environmental responsibility\, social justice\, and transformation. Working across a variety of media\, the artists demonstrate how traditional craft techniques and found materials can become powerful vehicles for contemporary ideas. \nOpening Reception: Friday\, September 25\, 6- 8 p.m \nArtist Talk: Friday\, October 23\, 6:30 p.m. \n  \nExhibition Information \n Five Points Gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday\, 1–5 p.m.\, and by appointment at (860) 618-7222. \nFive Points exhibitions and educational events are free and open to the public. There is no admission charge to the Gallery.
