Maureen Gallace 
Gallace, a contemporary American painter of landscape and architecture and a professor at NYU’s Steinhardt School, will discuss her current work, her life as an artist and her navigation of the 21st Century art world. Gallace , a Connecticut native, earned her MFA at Rutgers University in 1983 and her BFA at the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford in 1981. Her work was highlighted in the  2010 Whitney Biennial and is represented in the permanent collections of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Wadsworth Athenaeum, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
