My process relies on the alliance between language and image. I approach each piece with an understanding of a physical image and allow internal forces of perception and chance to collide on the surface - surrendering to the moment. It is informed by place, poem, song, and by “Pierre” my muse. I weave a story of personal, intimate experiences, documenting emotional and phyisical states of relations that I believe to be universal sentiment. Rather than telling a complete story, I leave room for the viewer to form their own narrative.
