The weekend begins with a Cocktail Reception on Friday evening, and the grand opening of the newly renovated interior courtyard. Guests will have an exclusive preview of the juried print show approximately 125 prints will be selected by a juror from submissions by regional, national and international artists; enjoy jazz music by Peter McEachern; and have the first glimpse of “Big Tuna”, BIG INK’s printing press.

Delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine, Five Points labeled beer, and cocktails by Litchfield Distillery will be served.

Ticket prices are $150.00 per person, and there are Sponsorship levels from $250 to $10,000.

Five Points Arts Print Festival is a two-day event that will engage people of all ages in the time-honored tradition of printmaking, and in the fine art of digital photoprint. Visitors will witness printmakers creating large scale woodblock prints off BIG INK’s “Big Tuna” press, and digitally printed photos on a state-of-the-art wide format digital printer. There will be demonstrations throughout the weekend on different methods of print, and for those who want to have a hands-on experience, there will be interactive print activities for all ages throughout the Arts Center. All are invited to participate in the scavenger hunt on the John Brown Connector trail.

The Print Festival (Saturday and Sunday from 10 – 4) is a weekend of fun for all and is free and open to the public.

Food trucks, Five Points labeled beer for sale brewed by 6 Bears & A Goat Brewery, and live music from Noon to 4 PM.
