Five Points Arts Center, in partnership with the Connecticut Art Education Association, is offering a full-day professional development workshop for K-12 art educators. Join colleagues from regional schools for this hands-on opportunity to learn new techniques and concepts for your classroom. Choose from nine “hands-on” workshops and two panel discussions taught specifically for teachers by experienced artists and educators. All materials and lunch are included. Spaces are limited; early registration is encouraged to reserve your top choice of workshops.

9:15 AM: Keynote – Cybele Maylone, Executive Director of the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
10:00 AM – Connecticut Art Educator of the Year Awards
10:30 AM – 12:30 pm: Workshop 1(choose from eleven options)
12:30 PM – Lunch
1:30 – 3:30 PM – Workshop 2 (choose from eleven options)
