Properly photographing your artwork is critical when building an archive and submitting to calls for work. Juried exhibitions often require digital images of your artwork and photographs that truly represent the quality of your work can make or break the juror’s choice. Lighting, background, angle and color balance are things that can often be overlooked by those unfamiliar with the photographic process. This practical workshop will show you what’s involved in making good images of both 2D and 3D artwork. Smartphones, DSLRs, scanners, and digital editing software will be among the tools covered.
