Throughout history, artists such as Maurice Prendergast hand burnished Japanese paper in order to transfer their inked image without a press. In this printmaking workshop, participants will learn how to print by hand and print using a press in our Robert Dente Printmaking Lab. Instructor Tony Kirk will show participants how to set up the press for printing and how to adjust the pressure to ensure a good impression.
