Five Points Arts began as a temporary storefront gallery nine years ago in Torrington and has

grown to a large permanent gallery with many extension projects, including a new Art Center, which celebrated its opening on October 16. The Art Center is a 30,000 square-foot building sitting atop nine acres of countryside and will include fully equipped laboratories for artists to use and experiment in cross-disciplinary fields, as well as providing space for community workshops. Five Points Arts received a bond for $2,700,500 from the state of Connecticut for the infrastructure
