Workshop Description

Explore an Abstract Impressionist style as you learn how to create beautiful works of art! We will create a portrait using an abstract style of painting, all in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Techniques include mixing colors with acrylic paint, working creatively through the process of painting, and the proportions of the face. Students will bring home a work of art they can have in their home or give as a gift.

Instructor Bio

Stacey Caren is a former art teacher grades K-12. She loves to paint and create in her garden. She believes any artistic endeavor is healing and joyful.
