Throughout history, artists such as Maurice Prendergast would hand burnish Japanese paper to transfer their inked image without a press. In this printmaking workshop, you will learn to print by hand using various tools to create impressions on paper and produce second impressions, or ghost images, by applying release medium to the plate before printing.
