This series of Pinhole and flatbed scanner images portray perceptions /memories from a past personal traumatic episode in Peter’s life, an armed home invasion. The characters and scenes depict notions of innocence, violence, anger, dismay, PTSD, despair, vengeance, violation, and justice. This menagerie of elements – color negative film, lensless cameras, Pinhole lenses, all come together to form these very personal images. Brown goes on to state, “And to further push this imagery into the public perceptions as a national debate, we need to address the growing ease of gun violence, disparity of wealth and race throughout this country.”
